Teach English as a second language to young learners in China!
Ages range from 4-15 years old.
Classes are held from 6pm-10pm Beijing Time
Pay per hour: Starts at $16 and over time goes up to $26 (USD)
Class Size: Up to 3 students
Class Length: 28 min
The number of Class Session per week: ◦ 3 days a week, either Mon-Wed-Fri or Tue-Thu-Sat for one year.
Zoom is used to deliver classes
Requirements
Nationality: North American and UK teachers.
Education: A Bachelors degree is preferred but not mandatory if you have extensive teaching experience. Also, having a TEFL, TESL or TESOL and having experience teaching children is definitely a plus!
You must be able to commit to a minimum of 6 hours per week
You must be able to commit to at least a 6 month contract
Bonuses
New teachers start at $16 per hour + incentives and after two months get an increase to $18 per hour + incentives. If you perform well, after 1,000 classes taught, you will be entitled to a raise to $20 then $23, $25, to $26.
Responsibilities
You will be expected to follow the lesson plans provided to deliver fun and interesting classes to the same students three days per week for a year and give student feedback.
